Introducing Portuguese Talent - Dino Gonçalves

Remember yesterday I mention Dino Gonçalves, who worked on the social day care project with me. Today I have the pleasure of showing a little bit of his amazing work as an Arquitect, Interior Designer, Paintor, Windows Stylist, Tv Scenery Designer, and the most creative mind I met! Recordam-se de ontem ter falado no Dino Gonçalves, que trabalhou no projeto da creche do Centro Paroquial, comigo? Hoje tenho o prazer de vos mostrar um pouco de seu trabalho como Designer de interiores, Arquitecto, Pintor, Vitrinista, Designer de Cenários para Televisão, enfim um verdadeiro artista com e dos mais criativos que conheço. Before & After - Antes e Depois - "Cupcakes and Teddy Bears"

Last Year I had the pleasure to work on a very special project - a Social Daycare for babies and todlers of families in need. The first time I visited the place I met the most wonderfull dedicated ladies who work with the babies from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Those babies spend the whole day there (more time than at home) and the conditions were so bad, that when I arrived home, I hugged my son and cried.

Two dark, sad, old, cold and dammaged floor rooms were our challenge. In 4 days, they were transformed by a team of 8 working men, 1 creative paintor, Rita Zilhão and a team of two designers, myself and Dino Gonçalves. We all had tears in our eyes when kids saw the result.

No ano passado tive o prazer de trabalhar em um projeto muito especial - o Centro Paroquial Nossa Sra. da Conceição, um centro de dia para bebés e crianças e das famílias com necessidades. A primeiro vez que entrei nesta instituição conheci as educadoras mais dedicadas que trabalham com os bebés das 07h00 às 19:00. Aqueles os bebês passam o dia inteiro lá (mais tempo do que em casa) e as condições tão más que nesse dia, quando cheguei a casa abracei o meu filho e chorei.

Duas salas, escuras, tristes, frias e com o chão muito degradado foram transformadas em 4 dias com a ajuda dos Queridos, a pintora decorativa Rita Zilhão eu e Dino Gonçalves. Todos tinhamos lágrimas nos olhos quando as crianças entraram para a surpresa. Aqui ficam as fotos do "Antes&Depois".
