Agora que se aproximam as férias, e as escapadelas de fim-de-semana para aproveitar o bom tempo, que se faz sentir no nosso país, tenho de voltar ao já conhecido label do blogue 'Hotels to Stay', para vos falar de um dos mais imponentes e fabulosos hotéis que temos mesmo à entrada da Quinta do Lago. 

Devo dizer-vos que se existe unidade hoteleira, que nos pode fazer sentir orgulho no nosso país, esta é claramente uma delas. Desde o irrepreensível serviço do hotel, à arquitectura e decoração do espaço, a toda a implementação das zonas de lazer como o SPA e as piscinas, este Hotel está definitivamente, num dos meus 10 favoritos do País e entra sem dúvida para a minha lista dos hotéis para ficar! 

Mesmo que não queiram ficar hospedados, porque já têm casa ou alojamento no Algarve, vale a pena aproveitar o SPA ou excelente 'brunch' ao domingo junto à piscina, do qual eu sou grande fã. Ou até um dos restaurantes que recomendo vivamente, para jantar. Até o facto de não ser um hotel em frente à praia, que infelizmente não existem muitos no Algarve. Mas existe um shuttle que vai até uma praia em Vale de Lobo onde existe uma área concessionada privativa e apenas para os clientes do hotel onde o serviço é 5 estrelas!

Experimentem que não se vão arrepender, porque este espaço, é bem mais do que um hotel, é uma experiência!

Now that you are probably thinking of any oportunity to come to the beach for a few days or for the weekend to enjoy the Portuguese good weather. There is a place I need to include in my Hotels to stay list. A place that is certainly one of our most fabulous and imponent hotels we have at Quinta do Lago in Algarve.

I must tell you that this is much more than a hotel unit, because ths one can make us feel proud of our country. From the impeccable hotel service, architecture and decoration of the space, to the entire implementation of recreational areas such as the SPA and the swimming pools, this hotel is definitely one of my 10 favorites in the country and it goes with no doubt, to my list of hotels to stay!

Even if do not want to stay there, because you have a house or any other accommodation in the Algarve, it's still worth to enjoy the SPA or the excellent 'brunch' on Sundays by the pool, which I am a great fan. Or just to enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants for dinner, that I highly recommend. And even the fact that the Hotel is not seafront is solved by the impecable service of a go arround shuttle that takes you to a great beach with a private hotel area and a five star service even at the beach. 

This place is much more than an hotel it's an experience you will not forget!

Hotels to stay * Hoteis para ficar - Infante Sagres Hotel Oporto

Blogger has a new interface and it's very wellcome present to me was to delete my last post. How nice... shitty interface!.

I find it very anoying that when I'm finnaly used to this specific gadget, or program  somebody decides to improve it but never to make things easier - like the new facebook interface - bunch of crap!

So this was what I posted yesterday. When I was up north working I had the pleasure to visit the gorgeous Infante Sagres Hotel, it belongs to the 'small luxury hotels of the world' a collection of 440 hotels arrownd the world. There is an amazing list of famous guests who stayed there before, Dalai Lama, the Queen of Holland, Bob Dylan and Jonh Malkovich among others. The hotel has an impecable service so if you ever visit Porto, (the Oporto Wine city) you might want to visit it.

O Blogger tem um novo interface e parece que o seu belo presente de boas vindas foi dar cabo do meu último post. Pura e simplesmente desapareceu umas horas depois de publicado! Obrigadinha novo interface da treta!.

Acho muito chato que quando começo a saber mexer com um gadget electronico ou com um novo interface de repente alguém decide melhorá-lo, mas nunca para facilitar as coisas - como o interface novo do facebook - monte de treta, é o que é!

Este era o post de ontem que desapareceu sem deixar rasto. 

Quando fui até ao norte trabalhar tive o prazer de visitar o belíssimo Hotel Infante Sagres, que pertence aos 'Small Luxury Hotels" uma colecção de 440 hotéis em todo o mundo. O Infante Sagres conta com uma fabulosa lista de hospedes famosos, Dalai Lama, a rainha da Holanda, Bob Dylan, Jonh Malkovich, entre outros. O hotel tem um excelente serviço  por isso, se você visitar a cidade do Porto, esta é uma óptima opção.
