Introducing Portuguese talent - Casa do Passadiço

Let me introduce you some more Portuguese Talent because these ladies are who I call The Black & White Masters out here. They are from 'Casa do Passadiço, an interior design company based in the north of Portugal and owned by tree ladies, a mother with 2 daughters and my opinion is that, it's just too much talent in one family!! take a look at the work of these gifted girls!

Permitam-me que vos apresente mais um exemplo de verdadeiro talento a quem chamo 'Mestres do Preto e Branco'. Elas são as mentoras da 'Casa do Passadiço, uma empresa de design de interiores com base no norte de Portugal, mais precisamente em Braga e dirigida pela mãe e as duas filhas, todas decoradoras. A minha opinião é que é muito talento para uma só família! Vejam alguns dos trabalhos desta dotada família!

 

Yup! That much talent in one family and with the most privileged place to work.

 They are the owners of the amazing manor house 'Casa do Passadiço' built in the beginning of the XVth century in the historical center of the city of Braga. The building was restored at the beginning of the 90's by Catarina Rosas who kept its beauty and original structure.

Yup! É muito talento numa só família e trabalham no sítio mais absolutamente priveligiado. Elas são proprietárias da incrível mansão 'Casa do Passadiço "construída no início do século XV no centro histórico da cidade de Braga. O prédio foi restaurado no início da década de 90 por Catarina Rosas, que manteve a sua beleza e estrutura original. 

É soberbo!

Please give a big round of applause to these 3 ladies (Catarina Rosas, Cláudia Soares Pereira, Catarina Soares Pereira) because they are definitely among the most talented decorators in Portugal.

Introducing Portuguese Talent - Angela Cunha

She is a white, stripes, modern furniture lover like I am! Her name is Angela Cunha, she is from a city called Nazaré in the Portuguese Coastline, and she is definitely a very talented girl. 

Her parents wanted her to work in the family's Upholstery business but she first started her studies in tv and Journalism. I guess it only took her only a few years studying in Lisbon to realize she was the luckiest girl in the world to have parents working in the Decoration business because that is the biggest asset when you are an interior designer and want to have your own store! So she changed career and open her own store!!  It's called Blanco Interiores and I think I will be definitely visiting her if I stop by Nazaré. Take a look at some of her projects!

Ela adora, branco, riscas, e linhas modernas tal como eu!  Chama-se Angela Cunha, é da  Nazaré, e tem talento para dar e vender!!! 

Os seus pais queriam que ela trabalhasse no negócio da família pois são ambos estofadores, mas ela queria seguir o sonho de trabalhar em televisão. Eu acho que só foram precisos alguns anos a estudar em Lisboa, para perceber que ela era a miúda mais sortuda do mundo, com os pais a trabalhar no ramo da Decoração, pois é o maior trunfo quando se quer ser uma designer de interiores e ter a sua própria loja. Então, ela mudou de carreira estudou design de interiores e abriu a sua própria loja! Chama-se Blanco Interiores e acho que vou visitá-la à Nazaré um dia destes! Aqui ficam as fotos de alguns dos seus projectos.

Congratulations Angela, we need more girls like you in our country, that take the 

local family business and make it a sucessfull one!!
