Querida Bricolage the book launch * O Lançamento do Querida Bricolage, o Livro do João Benedito

 Last night all the team from the show went to the Book Launch of João Benedito. João is our show contractor, the master of the team and he wrote a book about everything we teach on the show and some more...It's called 'Dear Bricolage', and I've been playing with João saying that he finally decided to compile a book, with everything I taught him! LOL

Now... seriously ... this was a shared joy with everyone in the team. João was very nervous but very happy. The presentation was made by me and Gustavo (co-host of the show) , of course! ... but I tell you that it was more like 'stand up comedy' session with so much nonsense we said! 

As for the book I believe is a great book of do it yourself, filled with practical tips and easy to apply and that will certainly help to save many marriages! Yes! because finally there is no more excuses for our husbands no to hang the pictures and  fix that broken faucet!? Well .. He explains everything in the book, and tells some adventures from the tv show. Congratulations to John and I would say this will be the perfect Christmas gift to give to husbands!

E foi assim no Lançamento do Livro do João Benedito. Chama-se 'Querida Bricolage', e eu tenho brincado com o João a dizer que finalmente ele resolveu compilar em livro, tudo o que eu lhe ensinei! LOL isto com um objectivo muito importante tentarmos ensinar de uma vez por todas, o Gustavo que não aprende nem ao fim de 3 anos no Querido!! LOL 

Agora a sério... esta foi uma alegria partilhada com toda a gente da equipa. O João tremia as mão de nervoso, mas estava muito feliz! A apresentação foi feita por mim e pelo Gustavo, claro!... mas digo-vos que mais parecia uma sessão de 'stand up comedy' com tanto disparate que dissemos!! 

Quanto ao livro acreditem que está o máximo! Cheio de dicas práticas e fáceis de aplicar e que vai com certeza ajudar a salvar muitos casamentos! Sim! porque há quanto tempo é que está à espera que o seu marido pendure o quadro que vos ofereceram ou aquela torneira da casa de banho que está a abanar!? Bom... ele no livro explica tudo, e ainda conta algumas peripécias do programa. Parabéns ao João e eu diria que este vai ser o presente de Natal perfeito para oferecer aos maridos!

Querido Mudei a Casa - Tv Show - before and after - part 2 - Bedroom

I know all the girls (big and smaller) will love this bedroom! It was the guest bedroom I did for the mini-loft project on the show, aired last Sunday. The Lavender was the candidate's favorite colour and the result is definitely one of my favorites too! I figured that in a guest bedroom we don't necessarily have to please gender or style, so I did something feminine, comfy and unforgettable. The Vejmon tables from Ikea are definitely one of my favorite Ikea transformations and I can say, for those of you who did not see the show. I nailed them myself!! They turned out pretty nice didn't they?!

Eu sei que todas as meninas (pequenas e grandes) vão gostar deste quarto! Foi o Quarto das visitas do Mini-loft do programa de Domingo, projectado a pensar nos tom favorito da candidata e o resultado é também um dos meus favoritos. Num quarto de hospedes, não temos necessariamente de agradar a género ou estilo por isso pensei em fazer algo confortável e convidativo mas com um toque feminino e inesquecível. Para quem viu o programa as mesinhas de cabeceira foram a peça original desta casa, feitas com a Vejmon do Ikea, que foram pintadas de branco e colocadas tachas a toda a volta (colocadas por mim!!) e com tampo em espelho! Tão simples e o resultado é excelente, não acham?!
